Here's Monday's EQ Blog!!! LOTS of Earthquakes at Puerto Rico and 3 Earthquakes on Saturday at California as Remnants of Hurricane Delores Make Landfall at Southern California!!!

There were THREE Notable California Earthquakes as of Saturday Night, Vandenburg, Truckee, and American Canyon with one of those striking a few hours before the other two and two within a couple hours around 8 to 10pm Saturday Central Time. Here's the entire list that I just threw together for this EQ Blog:

Felt like I should leave those other Lakeview Earthquakes there because they came up as part of the list and looked fairly ominous, too! So, as I was pulling up those there earthquakes for this illustration, I noticed Vandenberg and Napa/American Canyon were just a couple hours apart and wonder if there was any relationship between these as well as Truckee, California like another hour later! Felt Report from the Truckee Earthquake was actually quite large and am surprised it did not show up on Earthquake Central? Since it did not appear there, I'll tell you here and now it was 45 from Truckee, Reno 5, Folsom 1, Oakland 1, and 1 from Santa Cruz. Continue to watch California for a few more days on that alert, but there have been quite a lot of earthquakes along that line and this one could well have all run its course!

There have also now been LOTS of Earthquakes at Puerto Rico!!! Looks like 32 Earthquakes on the list from just Sunday, and if I expand that list it looks like about 187 from that region for 7 days! Can only tell you it is situated directly along the line we will be watching which includes East Coast and Washington DC for up to 8 Richters although hopefully this won't be the 8 Richters East Coast Earthquake you know!

Before I get to my final story today, I must post these interesting links that I have to admit to being flaberghasted upon the sight of them!!! Taking you all the way back to the date was July 29, 1509 and I'm talking about a Hurricane that struck the Island of Hispaniola of course due to having been checking all around there prior to this EQ Blog for the earthquakes connected to this latest swarm at Puerto Rico actually a lot of which are situated between the two islands and here is the link where you can see that date: http://tinyurl.com/hispaniolahurricane1509 AND then I counted on my fingers to come up with the number of days before naturally this huge earthquake struck at Constantinople and believe I came up with Day 42!!! Just had to post the following pic taken from remnants of Hurricane Delores as it approached Southern California and appeared to be about to make landfall around Santa Barbara with winds of something like 45mph! Here's the pic:

Posted that pic in the interest of the fact that along with some fairly big Storm Surge, there could be other factors that remain with this big windstorm that could generate some Earthquake Energy, although how much am not sure. Just that it was so close to being an actual menace that I thought I should report this to my readers!
