Super Cyclone Pam Makes Landfall at Port Vila, Vanautu!!! Windspeeds of 165mph and Gusts of 200mph! UPDATE: 4.9 Richters Strikes Vanuatu!

Here is a Great Vid directly from the island of Vanuatu showing a lot of tree limbs down and a considerable amount of damage CLICK Arrow:

Cyclone Pam with windspeeds of 165mph and gusts of 200mph struck Vanautu during the day on Friday and was last seen heading first to one or two more of the southern islands of that country. I suppose for now that Great Vid will be our best source for looking at the total amounts of damage, although other islands had also suffered damage from this storm as well as the northern reaches of the island you see in the vid. Major Earthquakes will surely follow, although they may strike further reaches such as Fiji, New Zealand, Hawaii, Japan, or Indonesia. Thinking about it you could almost count on that shaky Banda Aceh Region getting some shaking before this is all over! Maybe Philippines, although I will need more time to study the information and the storm is not yet finished doing its business, either. A look at the two other major windstorms that had also struck that region in the past revealed a Swarm at Yellowstone followed so it might be possible that our West Coast could even get some of this brand new potential shaking!!!

There was also a 3.4 Richters Earthquake that struck Idaho (Coincidence?) just north of Salt Lake City and here's the felt report from it:

City........ID/UT.Zip.....USA.......................................#.....Km
Montpelier, ID 83254 United States of America.......6......9
Bern, ID 83220 United States of America................1.....11
Provo, UT 84601 United States of America.............1....244

UPDATE: There was a 2.8 Richters Earthquake that struck near Washington, DC early on Sunday! Here is the felt report: http://eqalert.blogspot.com/2015/03/28-richters-earthquake-strikes-near.html

Finally, I checked at my local dam on Friday to see if our water levels had gone up at all due to melting and I noticed water running over the far end of the dam near the powerhouse! Yes, water levels are going up and there was a report that Boston had 40 inches of snow remaining, but another report said Maine had had a total of 121 inches of snow all together and there is more coming if you can believe it! So all things considered, the earthquake scenario might be changing but let us continue to now watch if nothing else to see what will happen next! Add the regions out there in the Pacific where all the huge windstorms are doing all the damage and we know there will be a Major Earthquake coming next as well. Updating that, there was a 4.9 Richters Earthquake to the west a few miles from that landfall at Vanuatu near Luganville and could be more to come, be watching and God Bless our friends out that way!!!
