3.4 Richters Malibu, And 3.1 Richters New Mexico Earthquakes!!! ALSO: Swarms, Swarms, Swarms!!!

Just in a 3.1 at Lordsburg, New Mexico at 11:13pm Central Time. The felt reports from New Mexico will not be complete until later in the day and other earthquakes could overshadow it before then, so let us move on, now. If you have only been following my EQ Blog for about the last year or so, you might be surprised at the number of things going on, here! As I was checking the globe just now in preparation for this EQ Blog it occurred to me that normally there would hardly be one of these alerts such as right this moment there seem to be about 5 or 10 of!!! Am very sorry it is so difficult to keep track of and that to the people who have only started reading in the last year or so there is basically just never this much going on! Can't personally recall the last time I had to keep track of so many different tracks of possible earthquake energy heading towards so many different places all at the same time, so do be prepared because a few of these are still big enough that they warrant undivided attention! It's just that in a normal Month of August there is sometimes nothing. . . other times perhaps ONE.

3.4 Richters Malibu, 10:03am Friday Morning Pacific Time, 6 Miles Southeast of Malibu, Here;s the felt report: http://eqalert.blogspot.com/2014/08/34-richters-6-miles-southeast-of-malibu.html

This little swarm I noticed near Old Faithful tells me there is still some earthquake energy going on somewhere. . . besides Wyoming probably, too!

AND While Anza does normally get small earthquakes, it is still a little bit rare for small swarms such as this one that also happened on Friday. With some further research such as checking the allignment of the times on this and Yellowstone above, you might discover a connection to these two.

Hello EQ Guy, thank you for your hard work on the blog and regular updates!

While I was on twitter I noticed a link to an Icelandic Earthquake and Volcano monitoring site, and I noticed that one of the large volcano ranges has become highly active in the past 12 hours, with 2 earthquakes topping 3.0 magnitude, please check this link!
