As of the writing of todays EQ Blog, I am looking at the film clip of the landfall of what was at one time Super Typhoon Neoguri, now a typhoon with windspeeds around 100 mph probably less as it skirts across the Pacific Coast of Japan and looks very much like it is or will be striking Tokyo at any moment. First towns along the line of possible earthquake energy of course including Tokyo, are Hokkaido, and then onto Anchorage, next a straight line across the Western Shores of Canada very near Queen Charlotte Island and through Edmonton where they virtually never get earthquakes so move on to Boise and Great Salt Lake the next points on the globe there. Finally you might also warn Yellowstone although it is near the line to the east and then Oklahoma and Fort Worth. . . just reading it off the globe there you know. I'm still settling on a magnitude and am thinking somewhere in the 6.3 to 8.1 Region, but probably not too much over say 7.6 Richters and while a 6.3 along that coast of Canada might be it, I would still expect this one to be more in the area of 7.1 or 7.3 and am sorry I will try to have better numbers later.
As the July Full Moon approaches I just so happened to notice as I was updating the Mammoth Lakes Swarm, I noticed there was a 24 hour GAP in the continuity! Yes, although it's not all that unusual and it occurred to me it is often on Day 5 before the Full Moon so I checked and the July Full Moon will be at 4:27am Pacific Time on Saturday, so this particular gap would actually then be Day 4 before the July Full Moon for whatever reason. 3.2 Richters Salton Sea and phone rang late Tuesday Night with a 3.8 Near Beatty Nevada that actually looks like it hit very near downtown Furnace Creek, California or DEATH VALLEY!!! Here is the felt report from the 3.2 Salton Sea followed by the felt report for Furnace Creek:

Let us not forget we are watching Montego Bay, Jamaica for maybe 7 Richters as well as California due to there now being even that much more possible earthquake energy and that Mammoth Lakes Swarm still looking like it might do something! Watch for still a lot more earthquakes! There are a number of active alerts and one Official Prediction in place and there is at least one or two good sized shakers to come, yet! Such as Iceland, Montego Bay, NY/NJ/DC, Illinois, Texas, and Oklahoma! Be Prepared!!! EQ Guy
