3.1 Strikes 20 Miles West Northwest of Paso Robles!!! No Damage at The Hearst Castle!!! BUT a Great Story!!!

I checked immediately upon seeing last nights 3.1 that struck 20 miles from Paso Robles and have found that epicenter to have been only just under 10,000 feet due East from the epicenter of the 2003 San Simeon Earthquake and due to that being about the exact region where we are now watching for a huge major earthquake, I quickly went on to do some additional research and came up with this story about the architecture at the Hearst Castle situated less than a mile from the 2003 Earthquake Epicenter and 2 more miles from the 3.1 last night. There also seems to have been a 4.0 there in early February of this year. This here story tells about the architect who designed the Hearst Castle having actually been in the Great 1906 San Francisco Earthquake with the result being going on to design much more earthquake proof buildings and that the Hearst Castle is mostly Reinforced Concrete: http://tinyurl.com/hearstcastle2003earthquake If anybody wanted to read some of the other stuff I found in that research, another good story is from CNN about the earthquake in general: http://www.cnn.com/2003/US/West/12/22/ca.earthquake/index.html?eref=sitesearch

Meanwhile, I've been spending a lot of time doing my practice Disc Jockey job up at my local radio station where I was hired to work in the Promotions Department back in early January and am doing well at re-learning the art of spinning records, now also CD's, and then throwing in a lot of talk along the way, too! While I've been doing this my phone has constantly been ringing, ringing, ringing because there have been a lot of earthquakes happening while I have been very busy there for the last couple days.

So, we do know for sure there is a lot of earthquake energy out there due to the fact that I could normally be working there all night, just about any night and my phone would never ring because there usually are not nearly the number of earthquakes as we've been getting. LOTS of this seems to be related to that landfall of the "King City Vortex" from back on Saturday, too. Here is the felt report from last nights 3.1 that came very, very close to the exact epicenter of the 2003 Paso Robles Earthquake, here's last nights felt report:

In the last hour or so as I am writing this as of 1:10pm Central Time, there have now been a lot more earthquakes striking out in that Lone Pine, California Region so PLEASE Keep Watching Lone Pine, Paso Robles, and San Simeon for more earthquakes and we are watching for a 6.5 Richters Earthquake so be prepared!!! Thank-You for Reading!!! EQ Guy
