Earthquake Energy Heading for Coalinga, Hollister, or San Jose!!! 5.9???

New earthquake energy heading for the general area of Coalinga, Hollister, and San Jose although it could reach Frisco, too. Not expecting too big of a shaker, but I do like to still try to get the exact spot and magnitude whenever possible you understand and smaller ones work just as good as well as for making preparations for when we know there is an earthquake coming! So, be watching now for the coming hours and next couple days for an earthquake that should not be much bigger than 5.9 Richters and I do not think this one will hit 6. Thank-You again for reading!!! Major Alert: Japan, Alaska, West Coast!!!!!

This may not immediately affect our West Coast, but folks on our West Coast certainly know that anytime there is a major storm, that they do tend to get earthquakes right in the middle of the storm! Therefore I must issue this major alert tonight for Japan due to a major typhoon right now bearing down on that country and additionally that they very much are due for a major aftershock!!! Right at the moment I just needed to put this message on my EQ Blog, and I will have updated info as that major windstorm nears Japan as well as during and after. So, also be watching Alaska and our West Coast since this could turn out to be as big as a Cat 4, or Cat 5 storm at landfall and become just a huge earthquake. . . as well as another major earthquake disaster for Japan only days and hours away!!!!! Full Moon. . . No Alert!

Yes, the full moon will be tonight, Friday, and I am happy to report that there is not really too much earthquake energy out there. Just checked and it has been 53 days since the last major energy and only a few smaller sources since then. . . not much to worry about especially tonight, or the days before and after the full moon. Stay tuned for those hurricanes and typhoons and there is a Cat 4 heading directly for Japan right at the moment and close to 90 degree waters in the Gulf of Mexico, but all that is yet to come! Tonight basically just watch for NOTHING to happen and remember that you heard it right here, and I have been fairly accurate at saying when there should NOT be an earthquake. Thank-You for reading! Osaka, Japan could be where an Aftershock might strike????? Next = Alaska/West Coast!!!!!

I noticed when looking at an actual map of Japan that perhaps Osaka might be one of the places an aftershock could hit since the actual overall length of Japan is like a thousand or more miles and it now seems possible that all these major aftershocks could be striking that immediate region! Here is one that struck today:

Thank-You again for reading! There are still a few days left of this alert. . . then watch out Alaska/West Coast!!!!! EQ Guy

Sumatra Aftershocks 120 and 1200 Miles from Original Epicenter!!!

The Major Aftershocks of the Great Sumatra Earthquake of 2004 and the mileage from the original epicenter is as follows: March 28, 2005 at 8.6 Richters 120 Miles South (SSE), July 17, 2006 at 7.7 Richters 1200 Miles SouthWest, and September 12, 2007 at 8.5 Richters 625 Miles South. While I can not actually say that each of these three major earthquakes have been officially catagorized as "Aftershocks" of the Great Sumatra Earthquake of 2004, which is listed as 9.1 Richters, I do want to basically just note that 120 Miles was as close as an actual Major Aftershock struck to the exact epicenter of the original. While interestingly 1200 Miles away seemed to also be affected although I can't say that July 2006 event was ever termed an aftershock.

So, now we will be watching for a major aftershock as big as the ones I have just listed above and right at the moment perhaps we should start thinking about watching Alaska and our West Coast into the coming week or so because there is still one major earthquake out there and one source of earthquake energy still waiting to strike somebody, somewhere. Right at the moment I still lean heavilly on the Japan Region for a major aftershock, though!!!!! EQ Guy
